Since 2012, Seawalk has had over 500 successful calls. The destinations who have installed Seawalk have received good feedback from both passengers and the local businesses. One of the most important factors that the local businesses have noticed is that more passengers are landing when Seawalk is installed, than if the ship is at anchor and must transport the passengers to land by boat. The installation thus gives the passengers a better service since they can go to and from the ship as they please, and also get more time on land.
