William Tatham, VP cruise shipping for the Port Authority of Jamaica, says it’s a brilliant solution to their challenge regarding the historic site because of the removable and reusable qualities of SeaWalk. It opens the opportunity for cruise ships to visit the fascinating destination without impacting its fragile environment.

Port Royal will be exclusive and will only take one ship at a time, in the means of not overwhelming the historic Port Royal. The first ships are expected to be able to call at the floating pier in early 2019.
